Waters Upton MIs - Beaman, Richard and Emma

James was almost certainly the James Gregory who was baptised at Waters Upton on 13 November 1797, parents James and Elizabeth Gregory, and also the James Gregory whose death was registered at Wellington, Shropshire in the last quarter of 1865. The 1851 census shows James, 53, a tailor, and wife Sarah, 54 (born either at Sidbury, or Lydbury North), with their children John Gregory, 22; James Gregory, 17; Emma Gregory, 20; and Elizabeth Gregory, 14; all born at Waters Upton.

For details of Emma, daughter of James, and her husband Richard Beaman, see the MI page for the surname Beaman.
