Memorial Inscriptions in the churchyard of Waters Upton St Michael
The memorial (or monumental) inscriptions – MIs – on the gravestones in the churchyard of Waters Upton St Michael were the starting point of the Waters Upton One Place Study.
There are now 41 surnames recorded in the MIs I have photographed (plus one more, Foulks, which does not appear in the MI of the lady who died with that surname). I have split them into four groups:
