Waters Upton memorial inscriptions: MEREDITH

In memory of
MARTHA MEREDITH
third daughter of the late
John Meredith Esqr. of Westbury in this County,
died January 13th 1870,
aged 68 years.

Martha Meredith was baptised at Westbury on 16 Aug 1801, daughter of John Meredith and his wife Anne. The 1861 census recorded her living in Broad Street, Welshpool, Montgomeryshire with her brother Alfred Meredith, sister-in-law Rachel Meredith, sister Emma Meredith, and niece Lucy Meredith; her brother and sister were, like Martha, born in Westbury.
